2. The comic Sheldon has been doing a run this week on “Duck Tenure.” It’s funny enough I’m thinking about prints for two coworkers who just got tenure.  It begins with this strip.

3. A friend of mine moved very recently to Pilger, NE. You may have seen this town in the news as it pretty much doesn’t exist anymore due to twin tornadoes. She and her husband and furrkids are okay but the pictures from there suggest words like “obliterated.”   The Red Cross is one of the groups on the ground there giving aid not only there but other places that also need support. It makes any complaints I’ve had the last few days feel very trivial.
