Women’s Labor – COVID Bibliography

This is a draft bibliography capturing news stories around COVID-19 that acknowledge or glorify the extra labor expected of women during shut down — whether that is taking on childcare and homeschooling, making masks, additional home responsibilities, affective labor in the academy, etc. Right now it’s a broad sweep; it is our hope to add more specific categories over time.

Bibliography maintenance and the ongoing content analysis project is a collaboration of Abigail Goben and Nell Haynes. If you would like to recommend a news story, please share it to @hedgielib on Twitter or Instagram or to agoben@uic.edu. Requests for the RIS file may also be made to agoben@uic.edu.
